ACSISS Platform

CDR Consent configuration

The consent journey can be customised through API parameters to provide a more seamless and relevant customer experience.

For example, you can

  • Pre-fill customer information such as the ABN and email address,

  • Guide the customer through the preferred sharing method,

  • Provide greater clarity about how their data will be used by customising the service description

  • Control the amount of historical data requested by setting the history period (in days).

These parameters allow each Platform customer to tailor the consent experience while keeping the underlying consent journey and regulatory requirements managed

Configuration option

Required?

What it does

Sharing method

Optional

Determines which sharing method is presented or selected for the customer. Business Disclosure is recommended. Trusted Adviser is also supported.

Customer ABN

Optional

Pre-fills the customer's ABN in the Business Disclosure journey, reducing the amount of information the customer needs to enter.

Customer email

Optional

Pre-fills the customer's email address in the consent journey, so the customer does not need to enter it again.

Consent type

Optional

Determines whether the consent is ongoing or one-off. Ongoing consent is the default and is used when the platform needs continuing access to the customer's data.

Service description

Optional

Explains to the customer what their bank data will be used for. This description is displayed as part of the consent experience.

Historical data period

Optional

Determines how much historical transaction data should be collected when the connection is established. This can be set from 0 to 730 days, with 730 days as the default.

Consumer Disclosure only

Optional

Allows the platform to configure the consent journey to show the Consumer Disclosure flow only, without presenting the Business Disclosure/ABN journey. This is useful where the platform's customers are consumers rather than businesses.
