Before production credentials are issued, your platform must also complete the production readiness review described below.

Compliance review

As part of the production onboarding process, the platform must complete an ACSISS compliance questionnaire. The completed questionnaire will be manually reviewed by an ACSISS Compliance Officer to assess the platform's security, privacy, operational, and customer-facing processes.

The Compliance Officer may request additional information or supporting documentation as part of the review. Production credentials will only be issued once the compliance review has been completed and approved.

Production readiness review and credentials

Production credentials are issued after the ACSISS Sales and Compliance team completes a production readiness and security compliance review.

As part of this review, the platform must demonstrate that it has implemented appropriate customer-facing and internal processes to reduce avoidable customer support issues. This includes:

Consent and processing status

• Correctly displaying the customer's consent status and processing/feed status in your platform.

• Clearly communicating when consent is expired, revoked, inactive, or requires customer action.

• Providing appropriate guidance to the customer when action is required rather than presenting an incorrect or misleading feed status.

Business customer pre-boarding

• Including a pre-boarding step in your internal processes to identify when a business customer may need to complete the Nominated Representative (Nom Rep) process.

• Providing your customers with appropriate information about the Nom Rep requirement before they attempt to connect their bank accounts.

• Including the following resources as part of your customer pre-boarding and education process:

  • CDR Ready — Nominated Representative information

  • ACSISS Help Centre — Connect your business bank account

UI and process review

As part of the readiness review, ACSISS may review your platform's relevant UI and customer journey to confirm that consent status, processing status, and customer guidance are being handled appropriately.

You may be asked to provide screenshots, test access, or demonstrate the relevant customer journeys before production credentials are issued.

Once the production readiness and security compliance checks are completed, you will receive production versions of:

• Client ID

• Client Secret

• Subscription Key (Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key)

Store all production credentials securely using appropriate encryption and access controls.
