In most cases, connecting your Bankwest account to ACSISS My Data is usually a straightforward process.

However, if you don't see the business account you intend to connect, you'll need to take extra steps.

Set up data sharing delegates

Eligible delegates can share Bankwest data with accredited organisations such as ACSISS My Data. To set up delegates you'll need to:

  1. Log in to Bankwest online banking or the Bankwest App and find 'Manage data sharing' from the menu, then select 'Sharing preferences' under 'Data sharing delegates'

  2. Choose from the list of eligible delegates

  3. Choose the accounts you'd like your data sharing delegates to be able to share

Afterwards, the eligible delegate will be able to connect your Bankwest account and provide ACSISS My Data with the necessary consent to access your bank data.
