Share your Westpac Corporate account
Updated over 3 months ago

In most cases, connecting your Westpac Corporate business account to ACSISS My Data is a straightforward process. However, if you don’t see the account you intend to connect, you’ll need to take a few extra steps.

Before you can share data, you’ll need to have access to Online Banking for Business. For information on how to register for Online Banking for Business, please visit Westpac's page.

Once you have registered for Westpac Online Banking for Business, please follow the instructions outlined below.

You’ll need to opt in to the Open Banking feature by filling out the Open Banking data sharing authority form. Once the form is completed, you’ll need to submit it to your relationship manager or your nearest Westpac branch.

The Open Banking feature will be activated within 1-2 days following submission. This will allow existing Administrators to nominate Users to share your data with a third party.

To nominate a User, an Administrator will need to sign into Westpac Online Banking and navigate to the Business network profile. From there, you will need to select Administration > User Administration. Then, select the name of the user you want to be a Nominated Representative. This means they will have permission to share data on behalf of the Organisation. Scroll down the page to ‘Open Banking data sharing’ and select Manage data sharing. Check the user is registered for Protect SMS and then select Save.

You should now be able to connect your Westpac bank account to ACSISS My Data.

For further details, you can visit Westpac’s page dedicated to Open Banking or reach out to Westpac directly.
