This article answers the most common questions asked about our bank feed solution.

Who do I contact if I have a support query?

Log a ticket via email on help@acsiss.com.au or directly on our support portal.

My Bank Feed is in Problem status, what do I do?

Please read the status reason in your system. Here are some common reasons why this would occur and what to do:

Direct Feeds:

  • No signature profile exists or the signature on the form does not match the signature on file in the bank - Contact your local branch and update your signature profile

  • Invalid bank account details - Resubmit the form with the correct details

  • The person who signed the form was not authorised to do so - Resubmit the form with a signature from an authorised person

  • The type of account is not available - You will be unable to create a direct data feed for this account, please try adding a CDR feed instead.

CDR Feeds:

  • N/A - CDR Feeds do not go into a Problem state.

Is there a limit on the number of bank accounts we can add?

No, bank accounts are unlimited.

Can I add accounts from multiple banks?

Yes, you can add feeds across multiple supported banks.

Can I get historical data?

CDR Feeds: Yes, Data is available from the date specified when the user sets up the data share.

Direct Feeds: No, Data is available from the date the bank approves the feed.

Is the data accurate?

Yes, data comes directly from the bank’s core banking system.

Can I get credit cards?

CDR Feeds: Yes, credit cards are available.

Direct Feeds No, only Bendigo Bank provides credit cards.

Can I get loan accounts?

Yes, with CDR bank feeds loan accounts are available. They are not available via Direct bank feeds.

Can I get term deposit accounts?

Yes, with CDR bank feeds, loan accounts are available. They are not available via Direct bank feeds.

Why can’t I get all my desired accounts?

Each bank provides certain account types only.

Is the data secure?

Yes. SISS Data Services is ISO 27001 certified and an Accredited Data Recipient under Australia’s CDR Open Banking regime, ensuring your data is handled to the highest security standards.

Do you accept digital signatures for Direct Feed consent?

No, all banks require a wet signature when giving consent via a physical form.

How long does it take to process a Direct Feed authority form?

Approximately 10 business days.

Why did my feed stop unexpectedly?

Direct feeds:

  • The account has been closed, or there has been a BSB change.

  • For ANZ or Westpac, the bank feed may have been cancelled online.

CDR Feeds:

  • The consent for the account may have expired, if so, you will need to give consent again to reactivate the feed.

How do I submit my direct data consent form?

Scan or photograph your signed form and send it to sissdataforms@siss.com.au using the highest image quality possible.

How do I cancel my bank feed?

Please see your respective user guide.

Who can give consent for my bank feed?

The account holder, or a person authorised on the account.

How many people need to sign my direct feed consent form?

A maximum of two signatures is required.

Do you offer Not-For-Profit pricing?

Yes, we offer exclusive not-for-profit prices to organisations registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission.

Is ACSISS Connect available for Business Central on-premises?

Yes, it is available for Business Central on-premises version 20 onwards. Please see your business partner or contact us on our on our support portal if you are an on-premises user.
